Read the markers, not just the words

Every page tags its claims with one of three markers. Train your eye to spot them — they tell you how much to trust a sentence. STABLE

  • <span class="trust trust-stable">STABLE</span> — durable concept. Learn it; it will still be true next year.
  • <span class="trust trust-grounded">GROUNDED · Doc</span> — taken from a named briefing doc (Westmont, Fenwick, Law360, Glacis). Trustworthy for what the doc says, but the doc is briefing material, not statute.
  • VERIFY — a number or rule that changes. Never memorize it from here. Confirm it against the official source named in the callout.

Suggested study order

You can read any page standalone, but this sequence builds knowledge in the right order:

  1. Frame the landscape — 01 Licensing 101 and 02 The path. Understand how you get licensed before what’s on the test.
  2. Master the exam body — start with 04 General core (it underlies every line), then your track:
  3. Learn your state — 09 WA / 10 CA / 11 NY.
  4. Build the business — 03 Entity & MGA then 13 Underwriting.
  5. Understand the strategy — 14 AI regulation then 15 Glacis arc.

Drill what you read

This wiki is the reference; the app is the gym. After a section, drill it:

When you hit a number

If a page states a fee, an hour count, a passing score, a number of questions, a CE requirement, or a statute citation, it will be marked VERIFY. Treat it as a placeholder for a real number you still owe yourself. Collect them all from the 16 VERIFY hub and work through them against the official sources before you rely on any of them.
